As South Africans commemorate Human Rights Day this year, millions of citizens are left without the right to access to clean drinking water as decades of ANC corruption and maladministration have left taps dry across the country for months on end.

On Thursday, 21 March 2024, Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal Leader, John Steenhuisen MP, will lead thousands of DA supporters in a march against this ANC-created human rights abuse which has ravaged the province of Mpumalanga and the entire country’s water systems.

The event will mark the start of the DA’s comprehensive national campaign to Rescue South Africa as we approach the critical General Election of 29 May where the ANC will lose its majority, and South Africa will usher in a new coalition government of change.

Steenhuisen will be joined by DA Federal Chairperson Dr Ivan Meyer, DA Chief Whip Siviwe Gwarube, DA Mpumalanga Provincial Leader, Jane Sithole, DA Mpumalanga Provincial Chairperson, Bosman Grobler, Members of the Provincial Executive, DA Councillors and Activists.

Members of the media are invited to attend, and there will be interviews and photographs.
