The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Mpumalanga welcomes the election of two of our Members of the Provincial Legislature as Chairpersons of a Portfolio and Select Committee. This is history in making as this is the first time DA members of the legislature are elected to chair Committees.
We are confident that their expertise and dedication will contribute significantly to the oversight and legislative functions of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature.
The elected representatives are:
1. Trudie Grove’ Morgan MPL: elected Chairperson for the Oversight committee on Legislature and Premier’s Office.
2. Bosman Grobler MPL: elected Chairperson for the Portfolio Committee of Culture, Sport and Recreation
Our representatives will uphold the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and service to the people of Mpumalanga Province.
