The rising cost of food has a devastating impact on the residents of our Province who struggle to feed their families and gain access to even one meal a day.
Our economy is in crisis and the cost of living is spiralling upward. The DA has a solution to fight the high cost of living to protect the most vulnerable in our society.
Tomorrow, 16 November 2022, DA Mpumalanga Provincial Leader, Jane Sithole MPL, will lead a picket to the Provincial Department of Social Development to hand over an urgent memorandum to the MEC for Social Development to highlight the urgent need for the MEC and the Provincial Government to bring food relief to thousands of residents in our Province.
Sithole will be joined by DA Mpumalanga Provincial Chairperson, Bosman Grobler MPL, Mbombela Constituency Head, Cllr Cyril Chuene, local DA councillors and members of the community.
